Verkhovnya Ski Resort

Verkhovnya village is a postcard perfect traditional style village which has hot summers and long snowy winters with some ski slopes. Verkhovnya is a well kept secret of the Carpathians since not many people outside the area know about its good quality ski runs. If you're thinking of visiting this part of Ukraine- for both sightseeing and skiing, then Verkhovnya should be high up on your list of places to visit.

Flowing nearby the village is a large mountain river which in summer is used for kayaking and boat racing (an example can be seen in our gallery). Hiking here through the forested mountains is also an unforgettable experience due to the wild and verdant beauty of the area.

The village itself is of a good size and accommodation consists mainly of private rooms and family hotels. The village hosts a regular market and if you take a wonder through the charming side streets, you will come across a number of quaint traditional style wooden properties. It is definitely a well kept village and certainly a desirable place to have a holiday home in.
